Feeling Small...

SO this midget asked me if I could spare a smoke,

And if I knew any Randy Newman songs.

Hmmm...

I gave him a Camel but told him I'd lost my lighter,

So, he'd have to find his own source of fire.

 

"THANK you," said the midget. "I have matches."

 

I then burst into the chorus from ‘Short People,' and

Upon my conclusion,

Reminded the midget that, yes,

Smoking is dangerous, and

Widely rumored to stun growth.

 

"VERY funny," said The Midget,

Exhaling smoke through his little yellow teeth.

"Very funny, indeed."

 

SIGH...

I never before felt so small.
